Publish Deck Privacy Policy
Publish Deck is operated by Adhiraj Singh. This policy explains how Publish Deck collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app, including when you connect Pinterest or other social accounts.
Scope
- This policy applies to the Publish Deck website, app, APIs, connected-account features, scheduling tools, and support interactions.
- This policy does not apply to social platforms, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, or other third-party services that Publish Deck does not own or control.
- By using Publish Deck, you agree that Publish Deck may collect and use information as described in this policy.
What We Collect
- Account information you provide, such as your email address and profile details.
- Connected social account details, such as usernames, profile images, account IDs, access tokens, refresh tokens, and platform metadata needed to publish posts.
- Content you create in Publish Deck, including captions, schedules, selected accounts, media references, and post results.
- Media files you upload for publishing, including file names, MIME types, storage paths, file sizes, and processing status.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request metadata, rate-limit data, and error diagnostics.
How We Collect Information
- You provide information directly when you create an account, upload media, compose posts, connect social accounts, configure schedules, or contact support.
- Social platforms provide information when you authorize Publish Deck through their official connection flows.
- Publish Deck may collect limited technical information automatically when you use the service, including logs and diagnostics needed for security and reliability.
- If paid plans are added, payment information may be handled by a payment provider. Publish Deck does not need to store full payment card numbers.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate you and keep your workspace secure.
- To connect your selected social accounts and publish or schedule content on your behalf.
- To show drafts, scheduled posts, published results, media previews, and account connection status.
- To prevent abuse, debug failures, improve reliability, and enforce plan limits.
- To communicate with you about product updates, support, or important service notices.
Pinterest Integration
- If you connect Pinterest, Publish Deck requests access needed to read your Pinterest profile, read your boards, and create Pins that you explicitly schedule or publish.
- Publish Deck stores Pinterest access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest so it can publish Pins on your behalf.
- Publish Deck caches only minimal Pinterest board information, such as board ID, board name, and optional privacy value, so you can select a board while composing a post.
- Publish Deck does not store raw Pinterest API responses or secret-bearing Pinterest URLs in board metadata.
- You can disconnect Pinterest inside Publish Deck, and you can also revoke Publish Deck access from your Pinterest account settings.
How We Share Information
- We share content and account data with social platforms only when needed to connect accounts, refresh tokens, upload media, or publish posts you request.
- We use infrastructure providers, such as hosting, database, storage, authentication, and background job services, to operate Publish Deck.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service, or to investigate abuse or security incidents.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
- Publish Deck connects with third-party social platforms only when you choose to connect those accounts.
- Those platforms have their own privacy policies, permissions screens, API terms, and account settings.
- Publish Deck may link to third-party websites or platform settings pages. Publish Deck is not responsible for privacy practices on sites it does not control.
Data Security
- Social access tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Uploaded media is stored privately and accessed through signed URLs where needed.
- User-scoped application logic is used to keep accounts, posts, media, and schedules separated by user.
- No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the current stage of the product.
Retention
- Publish Deck keeps account, post, media, schedule, and connection data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the product.
- If you disconnect a social account, Publish Deck no longer uses that connection to publish new content unless you reconnect it.
- Some records may remain in backups, logs, or security records for a limited period after deletion.
Your Choices
- You can delete drafts, posts, media, and connected social accounts from Publish Deck where the product provides those controls.
- You can revoke connected social platform access from the relevant platform account settings.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account.
Children
- Publish Deck is not intended for children under 13.
- If you believe a child has provided personal information to Publish Deck, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
International Use
- Publish Deck may process and store information in countries other than where you live.
- Data protection laws may differ by location, but Publish Deck applies the safeguards described in this policy to the information it handles.
Changes
- Publish Deck may update this policy as the product, integrations, or legal requirements change.
- When the policy changes, Publish Deck will update the effective date on this page.
